Updates to Manychat's Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum Hi Bang Anwar, We're making some changes to our Privacy Policy, and Data Processing Addendum. Here's a brief overview of the key changes: Privacy Policy Following the adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission regarding transfers of personal data to the United States, Manychat has self-certified to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and the United Kingdom (UK) extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (collectively referred to as "the DPF"). As a result, to the extent each framework has been recognized as adequate, Manychat will now rely on the DPF as the legal mechanism for data transfers from the EU, Switzerland, and the UK. We've updated our Data Transfers section to include detailed information about our self-certification to the DPF, in particular concerning the complaint handling mechanisms and supervision exercised by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. Data Processing Addendum We've revised ANNEX 3. International Provisions and Jurisdiction Specific Terms to include detailed information about our self-certification to the DPF. We've updated our legal address as both an exporter and importer of personal data. We encourage you to read the updated documents in full. The updates will take effect on September 16, 2024.
